Love this site.  I have been reading the mail for several months and this is 
my first posting.  I have recently finished a try out for the Empire State 
Games and hope to be part of the team representing New York City.  I have 
played goalie for seven years (boys' teams) and I am on the SUNY New Paltz 
club team.  Has anyone had experience with the Empire State Games?  I would 
appreciate any comments, experiences or advice.  Thanks, Chris

Subject: Women's ice hockey in the South

Hi All,

I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that we have a women's ice hockey 
team in Baton Rouge, LA.  We are looking for teams to play within our region.

We are aware of the Harpies in Houston and plan to contact you.  We were 
wondering if there are other teams that have spurred up in the south.

Please contact us if you are interested in playing us.  Also, maybe some of 
the northern teams want a southern vacation????
