For Brampton, your team is supposed to get a USA Hockey travel permit, that
says that you are covered if you travel to Canada. So technically, yes
you're supposed to be USA Hockey registered and your team is supposed to be
registered. However, the team I went with last year was not at all USA
Hockey registered and they didn't check for our permit. We're following the
rules this year though, it would suck to drive all the way there and be
disqualified...for further info I would contact Paul Driver, the tourney
organizer at email@hidden. See you there!

Actually, not only are you risking getting your team
disqualified - you are invalidating your opponents
insurance.

Not very fair.

Just FYI...

I believe this is the web site (with additional
contact info) for the Brampton tournament I think
you're referring to:
http://www.bramptoncanadettes.com/tregistration.html

There's also a tournament hosted by the Brampton
Cougars in May:
http://www.arenapro.com/cougartournament.htm

I play in both leagues, so I think it's cool so many
of you are making the trip up from the US.

Good Luck!

Hello

Has anyone participated in the Chi-town shootout that is held in
the Chicago area the third weekend of May? I sent the organizer a
reply a while back asking for further info & never received a reply.
So Im asking the esteemed dias here for feedback.

Also a new travel team, the Cleveland Blues-a senior womens
team- will be participating in the novice div at the Cincy tournament
next month.

Its too bad ESPN didnt follow thru with a feed of the WWHC,
since they televised the exciting mens college finals. Lets see how
much interest they or any other Amerikan network has televising
future womens hockey as we approach the next Olympics.

Hi. This is a combo test/introduction. I hope there are some folks out there
reading!

I live in Atlanta, GA and I'm a hockey junkie. Took up the sport about a year
ago - I'm a winger for the Atlanta Thrashers. We're headed up to Brampton, ON
next week so if anyone else is gonna be there, swing by and say hello. I wear
#8.

I'm looking for tapes of old USA-Canada games if anyone's got some to sell or
trade. Please let me know.

Thanks,
b
