Subject: women's pants

Regarding the women's pants... someone mentioned that the pants assume you
are short. This has not been my opinion with my experience. I am 5'9", 145
lbs, and the pants fit me like a dream. I WAS wearing a large juinior pant
and a small men's pant at one time and neither of them went low enough to
protect the often-hit area right above the knee. I wear a medium women's pant.

If it is indeed the case that the women's pants are too short, then
Louisville should look into extending them. The other benifits of the pant
make them impossible to beat for comfort. Perhaps someone could drop them a
comment on their web site.

Good luck,
Daun

For the woman whose tall daughter was having fit trouble: I'm tall and fairly
thin (5-11, 130) and have finally found happiness with an old pair of
Cooperall shorts. I got men's large and they fit like a dream (if you can get
over the smell and the fact that I had to re-sew most of the seams and pad
pockets) -- I don't use suspenders or a belt any more and have no slippage
problems whatsoever. The pads _ old Styrofoam things _ aren't the greatest,
but I looked at new, more modern versions of this type and they looked great
(I'm just too cheap to buy new at this point). I recommend trying them on at
least; I will never go back to a standard pant.

The Ohio Flames teams are looking for games with other women's/girl's teams
in the Midwest. We have teams at the Squirt, PeeWee, Midget and Senior
levels. We can host you at our new rink, the Cleveland Sportsplex in
Cleveland or talk about coming to your rink.
