Subject: USA Game

Thank you to all who responded with the schedule for the  Womens team.  By
chance I received a call last night with info on a newly scheduled game.  The
team will be playing at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan on Dec. 9 at 7 PM.  They
will be playing a team made up of some former ECAC women players, Former NHL
players and celebrities such as Tim Robbins.  Tickets for adults are $15.00,

Subject: Ft. Lauderdale tournament in April

Hockey International's annual Sun Cup tournament will be held in Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida during April, 1998. There are already 5 womens novice
teams planning on attending (3 from Montreal/Quebec, one from Ft.
Lauderdale and the Tampa Bay Blades), and the director is looking for one
more team to even it up. For more information, e-mail me at
email@hidden, and I'll put you in touch with the tournament
director.

The Blades attended last year and had an outstanding time - great hockey
and great weather. This year we are also looking forward to the activities
surrounding the 3 day (Monday - Wednesday) tournament: golf, tennis,
volleyball, BBQs, beer parties, etc. all at a beach front hotel. 

Also, if there are any goalies who would like to join us for the
tournament, please e-mail me. Our regular goaltender may not be able to get
the time off work. We plan to do some major fundraising in January to pay
for everything, so (fingers crossed), we *might* be able to offer close to
an all-expense paid trip!
