Is there anyone who knows how I can find information about hockey
tournaments world-wide? I remember a few years ago there was a women's
tournament in St. Petersburg, Russia, in June and since I'm going to be
there anyway, I want to try and hook up with a US women's team going there
and see if I can play for them. I think the Boston Beehives went one
year, so if anyone has a contact on the Beehives, that might help too.

by Dartmouth College during the summer months. Does any out there
know anything about? I've searched various sites but have found nothing.

Jeff,
The University of New Hampshire will be hosting a girl's boarding camp in
late July featuring UNH Women's Head Coach Karen Kay who was also the
coach of the US Women's National Team in '92, '93, & '95. Kay has been
called a "pioneer" in the women's game, having lead the UNH Women to the
ECAC title in 1996 and to the ECAC Finals again this year.

Hello to all !
This year - no european-championship in womans-ice-hockey was played, only
the worldchampionship in Kitchener was played (without the german
nationalteam - not qualified :-(( )
The IIHF has every two years played the EM and the WM - also
EM: 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1996
WM 1990, 1992, 1994, 1997
You've seen the EM was played 1995 and 1996 - that was planed by the
IIHF,also in the year 1997 (one year before the olympic games in Nagano) the
WM (worldchampionship) be held and decisive to olympic-qualification !
In nearly future, the IIHF has planed - to cancelled the
european-championship and the pacific-championship. It's planed to playin'
every year the worldchampionship from 1999 with A-Group and B-Group. The
Nationalteams they don't playin' 1998 in Nagano - have the chance for an
tournament 1998 for the qualification to the worldchampionship 1999.
The IIHF will make a final decision at this points, during the
worldchampionship of mens in Helsinki this year !
