Subject: cost to attend tournaments

The Houston Harpies are collecting information on the cost of attending
major tournaments.  In order to budget for such a trip, we need to know
what kinds of expences to expect.  I am perticularly interested in
attending Brampton next year, but fear that it will be cost
prohibitive.    I would like to hear from Sr. Women's teams and am
interested in total cost per person, including airfare, hotel,
tournament fees, and miscellanous costs.  Are there any additional costs
associated with a US team travelling to Canada?  Any tips for reducing
costs?

Subject: Lifetime special on again

The Lifetime special "Breaking Through" on cable will show again this
evening at 10:00 central time.  (Monday).  It is the only time I saw it listed
for this week.  It is an EXCELLENT piece on Title IX and I would urge
anyone who is having trouble with Title IX to watch it.  Yes, you have to
have cable tv...go visit someone who does if you don't!  Shows a lot of
history on how women have had to fight  (& sue) to get equity in sports. 
And inequities of how the men are being cheated out of playing now in
the name of Title IX - thanks to some administrators who think this is the
way to go! Dorene

I believe NHL team checks are available through the "Hot off the Ice"
catalog published by the NHL.  I don't have the catalog order phone
