I'm FINALLY getting time to type some of this in. Sorry for the delays.

The tournament starts TONIGHT. Tickets are $40 for all tourney, $10 per day
(2 game double-header), and $15 for the championship day. Best place to buy
now is at the San Jose Ice centre, and they want cash only.

Address: 1500 s. Tenth St. (at Alma. Take either the 7th or 10th street
offramps from 280 and go south). Phone 408-297-6000.

Schedule:

4/3: canada/Japan 5:30, USA/china 8:30

4/4: Canada/China 5:30, USA/Japan 8:30

4/6: Japan/China 5:30, USA/Canada 8:30

4/7: Cross-overs: $1 seed vs $4 seed 5:30, #2 seed vs #3 seed 8:30

4/8: championship: Bronze medal: 5:30, Gold Medal 8:30.

I don't have rosters yet. Will get them when I can. (I'm also on some nasty
deadlines, so I honestly don't know how much I'll get down there to watch.
Am definitely going to TRY). Getting ready for product intros can be a
pain, but it's worth it.

One good thing: this has gotten pretty good press and good support from the
Sharks. The Sharks have done some PR for it, and also had the team out in
between periods for a meaningless award to give them some visibility at the
last home game, and the local paper ran a full page on the thing on page 3
in the Sunday paper, and has done a couple of other, smaller things. They
aren't being ignored, that's for sure.

I'll keep people informed on what I can find out, and let you know what I
see at the games I get to.
