This compilation of past CBRC decisions is the work of CBRC
secretaries Don Roberson and his successor Michael Patten. It has not
been updated since January 1997 and may contain additional errors,
especially with respect to certain records classified as unaccepted
which have not yet been updated to 'accepted for statistical purposes'
according to a CBRC resolution. Nevertheless this Master List is
being made available at this site temporarily with the authors'
permission and the understanding that this list is the property of the
California Bird Records Committee and its creators, and while it may
be cited and portions used or reprinted in appropriate serious
literature, or in reviews, large-scale reproduction of all or a
significant portion of the Master List, without the express written
consent of the California Bird Records Committee and the Western Field
Ornithologists Board is prohibited.
